What are sound effects?

Sound effects is usually a synthetic sound that is not speech or music for use in a movie or broadcast.

When were sound effects first used?

According to google the first sound effect ever recorded was in the 18th century.

What is your favourite movie? How were the sound effects created for your favourite movie?

My favourite movie is Transformers the last knight. Most of the sound effects are made from everyday objects and cars, for example in some of the transformer movies they slammed car doors as the auto bots footsteps.

Why are sound effects important in movies?

Because it adds realism to the scenes   

Question : Losi is making pancakes, the recipe for 12 pancakes needs 1 3⁄4 cups of milk. She only wants to make 1⁄2 of that. How many cups of milk will she need?

Working out : Losi would only want’s make ½ 6 so ½ of 1 ¾ is 0.875 then 0.875 converted into a fraction is ⅞

Answer : ⅞ 

Question : Sitaleki is making ula lole (lolly necklace). It takes 1 ¾ of a bag of lollies to make one ula lole. How many bags of lollies would Sitaleki need to make 14 ula lole?

Working out : So first 1 x 14 = 14 Then 3 x 14 = 42 Next 42 divided by 4 = 10.5 And finally 14 + 10.5 = 24.5

Answer: 24.5
